Below are the details for Crypto Edge’s 1-Step and 2-Step Evaluations, including drawdown limits, upgrade targets, and risk management rules.

1-Step Crypto Edge Evaluation

  • Maximum Daily Loss: 4% of your highest balance/equity at 00:00 UTC, recalculated daily.

  • Maximum Drawdown: 6% Trailing
(Follows the highest equity achieved. Does not decrease after losses, but does reset after payouts.)

  • Breach Conditions: Exceeding the maximum daily loss or maximum drawdown will breach the account (all positions closed, account disabled, and new evaluation purchase required).

Key Definitions & Clarifications

Demo Account Balance vs. Equity

  • Balance: The account value excluding open positions.

  • Equity: The account value including open positions.

Maximum Daily Loss Formula

1-Step Crypto Edge Evaluation

  • Max Daily Loss Threshold = Higher of Balance or Equity at 00:00 UTC x 0.96

2-Step Crypto Edge Evaluation

  • Max Daily Loss Threshold = Higher of Balance or Equity at 00:00 UTC x 0.95

If your equity falls below this level at any time in the 24-hour window, the account will be breached.

Trailing Drawdown Types

1-Step Crypto Edge Evaluation – 6% Trailing Drawdown

  • Drawdown follows the highest equity on the account.

  • It moves up when new highs are made.

  • It does not decrease after losses.

  • It resets after payouts.

2-Step Crypto Edge Evaluation – 10% Trailing to Initial Balance

  • Drawdown follows the highest equity on the account only up to the initial balance.

  • Once it reaches your account starting balance, it locks in and does not trail further.

  • Offers more room for account growth during the evaluation without increasing risk.

Final Notes

  • ✅ Both Maximum Daily Loss and Maximum Drawdown are enforced simultaneously.

  • 🔄 After a payout, your funded account resets to the initial balance, and the trailing drawdown begins again.

  • ⚠️ Slippage, commissions, swaps, and fees all count toward your risk limits.

  • ❌ If your equity breaches either loss rule, the account will be disabled.

  • 📘 Be sure to understand these rules before trading to avoid preventable breaches.
