Holding trades through high-impact news is allowed however we have a restricted 4 minute window in which no trades can be opened or closed

If you open or close a trade during the restricted time window of 2 minutes before/or until 2 minutes after, profit made on these trades will be deducted upon the payout request on the funded account.

For example; if there is high impact news at 13:30 and you open a trade at 13:28:30 and close the trade at 13:33:00, this will still be considered a breach as the trade was opened 1 min 30 seconds before high impact news.
